As a Safety Security Supervisor at Florida’s Natural, you’ll work alongside Safety and Security Team to ensure a safe working environment for all of our employees.
What you’ll do:
Oversee contracted security service for both the Lake Wales and the Umatilla plants
Manage and maintain the physical security systems for both the Lake Wales and the Umatilla plants
Investigate and complete incident reports and train officers on proper incident investigation methods
Develop and implement security guard post orders
Create and deliver plant specific security training for security guards and other plant personnel.
Maintain in-plant traffic rules
Conduct documented safety inspections and walk throughs.
Enter training, inspection, and monthly safety scorecard information into the safety data base
What we’re looking for:
Must have a valid driver's license for the State of Florida
Minimum of two years of college or a graduate of a Police Academy
Class D (unarmed) security license in the State of Florida is required (or ability to obtain)
Four-year college degree preferred
Three years Supervisory experience in security or law enforcement is required
Certification as a Protection Professional (CPP) preferred
Security supervisory experience to be in an industrial/manufacturing environment preferred
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Prior experience with response involving hazardous chemical releases preferred
Previous experience with occupational safety in a manufacturing setting preferred
Thrives in an environment that is fast paced and able to adapt to changing situation
