Crain Communications, a leading B2B media company, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee key initiativesacross our 21 brandsthat provide indispensable coverage and data for professionals globally. This role will reside within the product team and report to the VP of Product but work closely with stakeholders from marketing, analytics, research, subscription strategy, sales strategy, and technology to help bring new products and features to market, primarily within the digital landscape.

Core responsibilities:
Help define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders
Develop detailed project plans and ensure resource availability and allocation
Manage project timelines, budgets, and documentation throughout the lifecycle
Coordinate internal teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution
Identify and mitigate risks, communicate progress, and escalate issues as needed
Maintain strong stakeholder relationships and manage expectations
Manage an associate project manager, serving as a direct resource to this role
Demonstrate strong leadership skills to guide and motivate the team
Utilize excellent communication skills to effectively convey ideas and listen to feedback
Apply organizational skills to prioritize tasks, manage schedules, and keep documentation organized
Exhibit problem-solving abilities to quickly identify and resolve issues
The ideal candidate will have:
5 years of project management experience, preferably in a media or technology environment
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills across multiple channels (Zoom, Slack, phone, email, in-person, etc.)
Proficiency with project management tools and software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello, Pendo)
Bachelor's degree in business, technology, or a related field
This role is remote eligible but also available to work out of our Detroit, Chicago, or New York headquarters.
