Texas ENT Specialists is Hiring a Procurement Clerk Near Houston, TX

Job Summary:

Completes procurement activities utilizing the P2P system in support of the clinics. Assists with ordering goods and services for the business as well as managing inventory.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Submits requisitions, maintains inventory item database and catalogs, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
  • Maintains stockroom including keeping inventory organized and rotating and monitoring expirations.
  • Receives and unpacks goods including scanning shipping documents into the system, re-stocking items as necessary, and labeling shelves.
  • Prepares medical supplies kits for delivery to clinics and processes returns into inventory.
  • Resolves invoice matching exceptions.
  • Orders and maintains office supplies.
  • Assists with filling out credit applications, onboarding new suppliers, and requesting quotes.
  • Obtains order confirmations and ETA for all purchase orders, monitors open POs, and resolves issues.
  • Assumes other tasks or projects as needed.

Supervisory Responsibility
This role has no management responsibility.

This job operates in a professional office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position involves a lot of time using a computer as well as standing or walking for long periods. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds without assistance daily.

Required Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Purchasing, inventory, or warehousing experience is a plus.
  • Computer literate – will frequently generate reports.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe – will be working a moderate amount in Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
