The Regional Meals on Wheels Supervisor is a new position, that position provides leadership, training, administration, and management to the Nutrition Program. This is a full time (40 hours per week) and will be based out of our Cohen Community Center in Hallowell, Maine.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Presides over, participates in, and coordinates the performance of pre-enrollment and continuing eligibility assessments for MOW recipients, including waitlists when appropriate.
• Develop a monthly schedule of drivers for one or more Meals on Wheels (MOW) routes using the existing pool of drivers, coordinating substitutes and cancelations as needed.
• Coordinates with Sous Chef and/or Executive Chef to assure appropriate number of meals are produced and available on MOW delivery days.
• Ensures continuing customer satisfaction by monitoring meal delivery routes, including communications, with volunteers and consumers.
• Deputizes in the Assistant Nutrition Director’s absence.
• Responsible for accurately accounting for all cash received by Nutrition Program and for the timely deposit of the cash according to the Agency guidelines.
• Responsible for compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations as they apply to the Nutrition Program.
• Management to meet health, organizational and customer service standards
• Ability to travel to another community center location within the agency and fill in/support that nutrition team as needed.

Education/Training/Experience:

• Minimum of Associates Degree; Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent is preferred
• 2 years foodservice or nonprofit experience preferred
• Experience using Microsoft Office software required
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• ServSafe certified, or to be obtained within 6 months of hire

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
