The Army Platforms Department mission is to provide world class engineering to rapidly migrate the Army from operational concepts through technology exploration and innovation to the fielding of integrated solutions that provide an asymmetric advantage.

Job Description :
The Army Platforms department seeks a MITRE staff member with a passion for leading and managing staff to join the N Department leadership team.
N Group Leaders (aka direct supervisors) focus on retaining, recruiting, and growing geographically distributed talented staff;
fostering staff relationships; ensuring quality delivery to the Army Division; and accomplishing Division and Department strategic initiatives.
N’s average Group size is 6. This position is open to qualified lead step and above applicants.
This Group Leader position will have staff geographically dispersed in locations such as Austin, TX, Shrewsbury, NJ, Huntsville, AL, and / or Aberdeen, MD supporting a variety of Army division projects.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Basic Qualifications :
Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s Engineering degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree;
or a PhD with 3 years’ experience; or equivalent combination of related education and work experience.
Applicants selected for this position will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information or applicants who are eligible for security clearances.
This position requires a minimum active Secret clearance.
