Job Description:

As a Release Contrast Method Instructor, you will be responsible for guiding individuals through sauna/cold plunge sessions to promote relaxation, physical recovery and social connection.

Each 45 minute session involves 3 rounds of sauna/cold plunge to stimulate circulation, reduce inflammation and enhance recovery from exercise or injury. Your main role is to be an active and reflective listener, providing support and encouragement throughout the process.

Skills necessary:

• Passion for Wellness & Empathy - must possess a genuine passion for promoting holistic wellness and helping individuals improve their quality of life through natural, non-invasive modalities like the Contrast Method. Possess the ability to understand and share the feelings of another person, often described as "putting yourself in someone else's shoes."
• Active & Reflective listener - Seek to understand and lead with curiosity and no judgement. Active listening to truly understand what others are saying and how they are feeling. Reflecting back on what others have shared can help validate their experiences. Leads will fastidiously avoid offering advice or ideas on how to fix ‘things’
• Empowerment - Ability to empower clients to take ownership of their health and well-being. Guiding the client through meeting, adapting and surmounting the thermal experience in addition to encouraging them to join and share in the community experience. Be vigilant in your own self-care to set the best example possible.

Qualifications:

• Health/wellness Coaching Certification: while not always mandatory, having a health/wellness coaching certification is beneficial. Working with clients to achieve their wellness goals is highly valued.
• Training leading meditations and breath work is essential.
• A commitment to ongoing development is essential. As we embark in this new offering, leads must demonstrate willingness to stay updated on the latest research, techniques and advancements.

Salary and Benefits:

• The pay for each 45 minute session, as well as set up and break down, is $40 - $75.

Release Well-Being Center's flagship location in Westborough, Massachusetts opened in 2017. It is comprised of two buildings: the historic Nathan Fisher House and a new 7,000-square-foot building we call Sanctuary. Release will open a second location in Boston in the beautiful Heritage on the Garden building on March 25th. This 9000 square foot facility includes beautifully renovated spa treatment rooms, a custom traditional sauna, two custom IR saunas, 2 eucalyptus steam rooms and 2 cold plunge pools.

Pay: $40.00 - $75.00 per hour
