Information Technology Manager is responsible for troubleshooting network, hardware, and
software problems; installs, maintains, and supports computers, servers, firewalls, printers and
remote user connectivity; troubleshoots and repairs connectivity problems; maintains phone and
voice systems; maintenance and upgrades of network components; performs set-up for network,
computers, phone, and email accounts.

Considerable knowledge of the operations and maintenance requirements for office-based
computer systems as well as local and wide-area networks systems and configurations; knowledge of the operational characteristics and administration of network security systems; ability to maintain standards and compatibility of microcomputer systems; ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with employees, managers, and vendors; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with users and vendors; ability to work independently and take on responsibilities of local area networks (LANs), SQL Database, iPad’s on factory floor running with AirWatch.
Physical Requirements
This is medium work requiring the exertion of 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Work requires climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, and repetitive motions. Vocal communication is required to express or exchange ideas.
Hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels. Visual acuity is required for depth perception, preparing and analyzing written or computer data, visual inspection involving small defects and/or small parts, operating or repairing computers, printers, and other equipment, determining the accuracy and thoroughness of work, and observing general surroundings and activities.
Working Conditions
Work is generally performed in an office and factory environment with controlled environmental
conditions.
Education and Experience
Graduation from high school or GED equivalency and 3 - 4 years experience in the installation,
maintenance, and configuration of office computer systems and computer local area networks
(LAN) and wide-area networks (WAN). An Associate’s degree in computer science or related field
and/or a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
