Title : Buyer (Materials & Sourcing) Looking for a candidate that is strong in purchasing, materials and sourcing in a manufacturing environment. Job Duties :

• Responsible for identifying and obtaining products and services from suppliers at the best value (cost, delivery, quantity, quality, and technical performance).
• Procure materials and services from both international and domestic suppliers.
• Issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) to suppliers.
• Identify and select vendor to procure requisitioned material, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality, and delivery date and places purchase orders.
• Evaluate supplier pricing to determine best value to the company and conduct negotiations with suppliers to achieve cost reductions.
• Study emerging market trends and evaluate new sources of supply.
• Assure that the acquisition of all goods or services will meet the requirements of the customer and ensure company policies are being strictly followed.
• Track and maintain proper levels of stocked inventory.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance and address issues with suppliers.
• Assist in the estimating of new projects for customer proposals.
• Interfaces with all departments to resolve problems and issues.
• Initiate and implement process improvement and cost savings initiatives for department.
• Plan and issue purchase orders with internal Mexico production facility to ensure customer requirements are being met.
• Contribute to the achievement of quality / management objectives by producing products to meet customer needs and expectations.
• Follow all Quality Management Systems, the Environmental Management Systems, and, when applicable, support facility in Mexico in adhering to their systems as well. Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree (BA / BS.); 3 years' experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Strong in Materials and Sourcing
