Landmark Property Management is Hiring an Experienced Apartment Maintenance Tech Near Pensacola, FL

Job Overview:

Come join our team at Landmark Property Management Company. We are seeking a Maintenance Technician for the Johnson Lakes Apartments, located in Pensacola, FL. This is a full-time position (Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts, with on-call and weekend availability). A high school diploma or GED is desired. Pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include health insurance, vacation and some holidays.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Overall maintenance of the complex including the building, sidewalks and property grounds (lawns, banked sections, etc.) if there is no landscaper on contract.
  • Ensure all vacated units are in a “Market Ready” condition (new paint, clean carpets, working appliances, etc.) within 3 days following vacancy and before showing or leasing the unit; rotate locks on all apartments prior to new tenants’ occupancy.
  • Advise the Agent of the needs and problems of tenants with reference to the maintenance of the complex; follow up and perform all routine maintenance in an orderly fashion (including but not limited to re-hanging of doors, screens, windows, repairs of toilets, sinks, and other items that require small repairs.

On a daily basis, conduct general trash pickup in all common areas, assuring cleanliness is maintained around the dumpsites; clean rental office and laundry areas; replace burned out light bulbs in common areas; repair any items that are broken or in need of repair reported by residents; ensure walkways, stairways, and other areas are clean as needed.

- Strong mechanical knowledge for equipment repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills when interacting with tenants or staff.
- Previous experience as apartment maintenance
