Southeast Elevator is seeking a Cost Accountant. The Cost Accountant will develop and reconcile inventory and cost standards, including production and overhead costs. The ideal candidate will track and evaluate project costs by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting information.
Responsibilities
Cost Accountant Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of success in progressive cost accounting roles, including:
· Proven work experience as a Cost Accountant or Senior Accountant. Manufacturing experience a plus.
· Expert computer skills on the MS Office platform specifically MS Excel and advanced knowledge of enterprise accounting software (ERP) and databases. NetSuite experience a plus.
· Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and product analysis / reports.
· Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices.
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ideal Requirements
· Undergraduate degree in accounting or relevant field.
· Cost accounting or 5 years of accounting experience.
· Self-motivated with good project management and organizational skills.
