The Role

Proofpoint is seeking a highly proactive, organized, and skilled professional with a robust background in cyber security analysis, security operations, and project management to join our Professional Services team.

As a crucial member of our team, you will leverage your extensive experience in handling complex security challenges, mentoring diverse teams, and driving projects to successful completion in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Your role will be pivotal in managing and securing our customers' critical information assets, ensuring the highest level of service and security.

Your day-to-day

Engage with our Email Fraud Defense customers as an expert in the field

Drive high levels of customer satisfaction

Coordinate with multiple parties the customer as well as their 3rd parties to ensure timely and satisfactory resolution to customer issues, and completion of projects

Drive complex implementations while working side by side with the customers to solve their unique problems

Work with internal teams (most notably engineering, sales, product management)

Leverage previous experiences, share best practices and facilitate creative solutions to unique challenges, maximizing the value of our Email Fraud Defense products

What you bring to the team

Strong project management skills with a high attention to detail

Hands-on knowledge and experience with Email (SMTP) and Email Authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

Excellent written and verbal skills

Relevant Consulting and Customer Service Experience

Must be comfortable with presenting and explaining technology to people with less technical knowledge

Must have a good understanding of the sales process, be sensitive to sales situations, and possess excellent customer service skills

Must be able to thrive in a fast paced, high stress start-up environment

Demonstrated experience in working with broad cross-functional teams

Excellent organizational, analytical and influence skills

Ability to work independently, ability to adapt quickly, positive attitude

Demonstrated experience in supporting Fortune 500 or other large customers

Experience with Proofpoint products is a plus

Experience with Secure email Gateways is a plus

BA / BS or higher

Base Pay Range : 105,420.00 - 165,660.00 USD

California (excludes SF Bay Area), Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Washington DC Metro, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Texas, Washington, Virginia, and Alaska :

Base Pay Range : 88,340.00 - 138,820.00 USD

All other cities and states excluding those listed above :

Base Pay Range : 79,170.00 - 124,410.00 USD
