Israeli American Council is Hiring an IAC Major Gifts Manager - Southeast Near North Miami Beach, FL
About the Israeli-American Council: The mission of the IAC is to build an engaged and united Israeli-American community that strengthens: the Israeli and Jewish identity of our next generations, the American Jewish community, and the bond between the peoples of the United States and the State of Israel. Job Purpose: The IAC Major Gifts Manager-SE will be responsible for developing strategies for the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors with special focus on five-figure multi-year gifts with a focus on a targeted geographic region. This position will participate in community building and fundraising events. The Major Gifts Manager-SE will be responsible for regional follow-up with donors, prospects and cultivation of new individual and foundation relationships. The IAC Major Gifts Manager-SE reports directly to the South Florida Senior Regional Director. Duties include and are not limited to:
Develop and grow IAC's current donor base in the SE region, specifically identifying individuals with major and principal giving capacity.
Participate in all aspects of the gift cycle, including identification, engagement, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
Solicit gifts of $5,000 and above in support of IAC's donor clubs.
Develop and maintain effective stewardship, especially of newer donors.
Regularly qualify new prospects to determine their affinity for IACs mission and propensity to contribute at the major gift level.
Direct institutional fundraising including research grant opportunities and engage with new and existing foundations in the region.
Build relationships with foundations, federations, and professionals through meetings, correspondence, and regular communication.
Partner with RDs/RMs in SE region to identify new donors and implement fundraising strategies.
Travels throughout the Southeast Region to cultivate donors with in-person meetings and engagements.
Responsible to fundraise per assigned goal.
Administrative: Utilize and update IACs database (HubSpot) to maintain accurate records of all donor interactions and individuals programmatic interests.
Reporting Continues reporting to the National Director of Donor Relations
May be called upon to assist with special projects and assume responsibility for the development, administration, and promotion of specific projects, as required.
Experience in working with HubSpot and Monday, is a plus.
Experience in researching and identifying major new funding prospects; progressive experience in successful advancement or related programs.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to write clearly to external and internal stakeholders, comfort with speaking to small groups. Able to listen actively and respond to donor needs.
Excellent planning and organizational skills; ability to prioritize, manage time efficiently in a fast-paced work environment and remain flexible.
Experience in working under pressure and multi-tasking.
Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in fundraising principles and methodologies.
Flexible hours to include work in the evenings and weekends as needed for National Headquarters, regional activities, seminars, and IAC National Summit.
Experience in the Israeli and/or Jewish sector is a plus.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, fundraising databases, and prospect research tools.
Highly efficient and organized.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to get along with all levels within the organization.
