We are seeking qualified candidates for Returns Clerk - 1st Shift (Monday to Friday - 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM) at our Byhalia, Mississippi Distribution Center. The Returns Clerk performs a variety of duties surrounding the Returns/Receiving area. Responsibilities Of The Position Include
- Receive all returns into the facility, physical and systematic.
- Documenting and processing returns expediently and with a high level of accuracy.
- Perform all system transactions to accurately increment inventory in the warehouse management system.
- Document any exceptions related to shortages or damages of returned inventory.
- Disposition of returned inventory by ensuring it is directed towards the appropriate rack or bin storage.
- Works with other departments to coordinate and ensure that issues related to lost inventory are found and made available for shipments for products in the returns department.
- Audit Yard view daily (runs reports).
- Perform/Track put-away audits.
- Processing of the Corrective Action Report (CAR).
- Track return errors for SPA shipments on the wrong truck.
- Performs miscellaneous duties as required.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Microsoft Excel (Intermediate Skill Level)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
