Position Summary:
The incumbent is responsible for overall management of medical images. Responsibilities include uploading of images from outside UCI Health into our Picture Archive and Communications System PACS, preparing images for release to patients, physicians and outside facilities, providing computer support related to confirming procedures, assigning procedure coding, providing phone support to the department, and distributing radiology reports as necessary. Additional duties include greeting patients at various radiology reception desks as required and processing orders for radiological procedures.
