The Oregon Clinic's Center for Advanced Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic individual to work with physicians located in the Cancer Center in NE Portland to document medical records for patient office visits. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care. 

Ability to commit one year preferred.This position will work Mondays and Thursdays (16 hours per week). On the job training is provided, but preference is given to those with medical knowledge or prior scribe experience. This position is located at the Providence Portland Medical Center in the Cancer Center Tower, in NE Portland. Starting pay range, based on experience: $18.65 - $25.23 per hour.

Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 50% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for part-time employees.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of previous scribe experience strongly preferred.
• Strong medical terminology, writing skills, and computer proficiency with Windows applications.
• Excellent Spelling, grammar and attention to detail
• Quick and accurate typing/data entry (45 wpm minimum)
• Interpersonal skills including a positive attitude as well as clear communication style.
• Ability to multi-task with strong organization skills
