Overview:
An all-rounder infrastructure operation engineer with SRE mentality, able to isolate the trigger of global infrastructure risks and outages and drive for restoration which require rapid communication and collaborations with multiple product teams, such as, but not limited to; network, server, storage and load balancer.
Analytical skills to translate the input from observability such as tools and telemetry to understand the state and risk within the complex infrastructure.
Seeking for candidates passionate for extensive operation works and comfortable to do a rapid inter-team communication, and under pressure. You would need to comply to the SLA (service level agreement) standards and communicate to customer (e.g: business user, application team) on the work progress.
This job is a great opportunity to develop your end-to-end service reliability and improvement awareness as you would be involved in analysis/troubleshooting, restoration, root cause analysis and preventative fix.

What you’ll do:
As a consultant, you will be the leader of a very strategic team for Technology company Infrastructure reliability and assurance. You would need to work/lead well within the team, and collaborate effectively with other cross functional teams.

You will:
• Be required to observe to the telemetry system and pointed out risk and faults in the environment
• Respond to incident bridge request and get involve in 24*7 on-call rotations
• Resolve, or drive the direction of the infrastructure remediation (with product team, i.e : network, server, storage) and provide update to stakeholders
• Integrates trends, data and information into plans and recommendations
• Develops impactful actions based on interpretation and analysis that improve infrastructure reliability and contribute to business applications' performance
• Taking part in root cause analysis to achieve quality investigation and fix

Requirements:
• At least 10 years of experience IT infrastructure operational support
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills, with proven experience interacting with wide range of personalities and styles, to establish effective relationships at all levels of the organization
• Able to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures, grasp technical concepts, and adapt easily to change. Must have a passion for learning and demonstrable intellectual curiosity
• Able to translate observability and convert it into technical case based on risk and fault it represents
• Able to handle/organize inter-platform/products collaborative works
• Moderate knowledge of multi-platform of infrastructures - such as, but not limited to network routers, switches, load balancers, software-define networks, storage and servers
• High sense of leadership and ownership

Desired Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent
• Experience supporting Major Incident calls with a lot of urgency
• Familiarity with tools and telemetries ; Zabbix, Grafana and Moogsoft
• Experience working in high scale enterprise infrastructure size/multinational
• Experience as infrastructure all rounder
• Experience with SI (service improvement) works, inclusive of RCA and problem tasks
• Certified in network, storage, servers and virtualizations area
•Experience in leading a technical team

Location: Onsite in Austin, TX - hybrid position required onsite 3 days a week
Duration 1 year - possible extension and/or conversion but not guaranteed
Hours: 9am-6pm CST, on-call weekends for 12 hours once every few weeks, will be required to cover public holidays
