Job GoalTo assist the Driector of Maintenance & Operations, both under supervision and independently, in adminstering the fiscal functions and responsibilities assigned to the Maintenance and Operations Department. Salary Range$35,060.00- $60,917.00 ANNUALLY Qualifications
Minimum of a B. A. Degree in accounting, business, business adminstration or a related field preferred.
At least four (4) years of successful experience in office management, accounting or budgeting.
Successful experience in compiling. producing and verifying financial or statistical reports.
Experience with fund accounting, budget administration and all phases of general ledger.
Experience with procurement activities associated with the purchasing function. Experience of background at some level with a governmental entity preferred.
Evidence of strong clerical/secretarial skills.
Ability to deal effectively with the public in a manner reflecting a positive image of the School District.

Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Directly supervises all office support personnel in financial, maintenance, construction, custodial, human resources in day-to-day operations.
Prepares, enters and records department budgets and expinditures.
Tracks, analyzes and provides advance warning of potential over-expenditures of budgeted funds.
Assists with development, compilation and presentation of financial reports.
Assists with secretarial duties as assigned.
Advises Department Director on budget matters with regard to account balances, forecasts and annual budget submission.
Assists with annual audit.
Prepares original correspondence and distributes to department employees as delegated and identified by Director.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenancne & Operations.

This position requires accurate perceiving of sound, near and far vision, depth perception, handling and working with educational materials and/or objects, and providing oral information. Must have the ability to work for the duration of the daily contracted time period, and to be physically present and at assigned work, with only infrequent unexcused absences, during the contract year. Additional technical skills, knowledge, and abilities may be recommended by immediate supervisor and approved by the Human Resources Director.
