Boulo Solutions is Hiring a Bookkeeper/Office Manager Near Nashville, TN

PART-TIME | REMOTE Boulo Solutions is partnering with a small company that is fully remote, distributed team of software design and development professionals located in North and South America. We are looking for a part-time bookkeeper and administrative assistant, for about 10 hours/week.Candidate needs to reside in CST or EST time zones.
Employment Type: 1099 10-15 hours per week
Flexibility: Remote
Pay: $30-35/hour
Duties include:
  • Set up and manage HR onboarding processes using a third-party web platform Rippling
  • Make sure payroll is set up and running for all employees
  • Onboarding and offboarding contractors and employees using Rippling and internal processes in Notion and Dropbox
  • Maintenance of business records including employee/HR records
  • Run background checks for new employees
  • Track and manage PTO for all employees
  • Assist the COO with benefits administration, including communication with CS employees about benefits
  • Invoicing and maintenance of Accounts Receivable
  • Review incoming invoices, bills, and costs, and make payments on time
  • Work with CPA firm and Rippling resources to maintain tax and business files for COO
  • Attend weekly meetings with admin team
Qualifications:
  • Organized, keen attention to detail
  • Familiar with payroll concepts and management using third party resources
  • Basic bookkeeping skills, including tracking payments, maintaining P&L information
  • Familiar with basics of business taxes and maintenance, such as annual filings with relevant state tax and business entity authorities (secretary of state, franchise tax board, etc.)
  • At least 3 years of experience in relevant field or position
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Self-starter with initiative and ability to advocate for better ways of doing things
  • Experience using Slack, Google Suite
  • U.S.-based and available for meetings between 10am-3pm Central Time
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience using Notion or Rippling or Quickbooks
  • Bachelor’s degree
