Job Summary:

The Supervisor, Hematology/Oncology is a Registered Nurse under the direct supervision of the respective Manager. This position coordinates, assigns, and guides the work activities of other RNs staff. This individual is responsible for direct patient care in daily operation of their assigned areas and focuses on clinical responsibilities, which include some assigned managerial involvement, as needed. This individual demonstrates core competencies within the discipline of nursing and patient care. This position integrates daily patient care within the Witham Health Services philosophy in all aspects of the job performance and interpersonal relationships. This position is directly responsible for ensuring staffing and consulting with the Manager when all alternatives have been exhausted or when agency use is needed.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing program, Bachelors preferred.
• Must hold a valid license to practice Nursing in the State of Indiana. ACLS, BLS required. 
• ONS Chemo-Biotherapy certification required within 6 months of hire. 
• Must have two (2) years previous oncology clinical experience.
