Stephens Memorial Hospital is Hiring an Ambulance Services - Basic Near Norway, ME
Position Summary
Provides basic life support during emergency pre-hospital and inter facility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient’s injury or illness in accordance with state and local protocols.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- License/Certifications: Maine EMT-Basic license. Valid Maine driver’s license. RQI BLS Certification within the first 30 days of employment. AVOC/EVOC, ICS100, ICS200 & ICS700 required within 6 months of employment.
- Experience: N/A
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Annual Skills Assessment, specific to department policies
- Annual Fit Testing
Schedule: Per Diem, Flexible (As Needed), per diem
