SUMMARY : The Logistics Coordinator assists the Warehouse Manager in the day-to-day functions of logistics in a food manufacturing facility.

Flexible schedule that may include weekends.

LOCATION : Egg Gourmet Solutions (EGS) a subsidiary of Cuisine Solutions located at 701 South 22nd St Harrisburg, PA 17104.

Shift hours are Monday to Friday 8 : 30am-5pm.

EDUCATION :

High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent combination of education and experience

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Ensuring / following up on all load requirements and transfer needs of RM and Finished Goods between plants / warehouse partners
• Maintain al inventory transaction up to date, by closing and conforming all Transfer Orders (TO) Sales orders (SO) and Purchase orders (PO) in a timely manner.
• Work with Managers to maintain inventory accuracy at Plant and 3rd party Warehouse (Armanda)
• GPS monitoring systems - per unit
• Maintain an up-to-date database of equipment (Trucks, trailers, etc.) and driver information
• Supporting managers with tracking / monitoring drivers to ensure productivity, increase fuel efficiency, and to maintain schedules (driver hours, OT, reporting), as well as manage drivers PTO schedule.
• Assist / support manager with process improvement
• Monitoring the temp. tail notifications fuel levels for all units at CSI locations and alerts
• Supporting manager w / organizing daily tasks and last-minute adjustments
• Assisting in the DOT filing of DRT reporting (driver trip mileage, DOT compliance)
• Manage bi-weekly truck cleaning - in and outside of truck / trailer units (sanitation / QA), VA as well as TX plants.
• Roadside assistance follow-up for emergency related situations (co-op with driver)
• Working with Leasing companies, as well as each CDL to organize each unit. Preventive Maintenance and repair schedules
• Accident reporting and follow-up with HR.
• Must ensure all rented or termed units are returned, if no longer in use - and removed or added to insurance.
• Must recognize and track down tractor / trailer unit's whereabouts, and which locations they are being utilized for storage purposes (my fleet management profile via Penske terminal).
• Supports and communicates with the other logistic team members; with ensuring that all carriers (3PL, FedEx, etc.) are picking up orders on-time, as well as following up to make sure orders are being delivered on time- based on load prerequisites (notify Sales / Customer Service of impeding delays)
• Filing and the retrieving of signed BOLs & PODs *(to be turned in by drivers)
