We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to fill our Health Services Coordinator role for our Children’s Services Department at Community Concepts. This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position and is based out of the South Paris Office with a hybrid work option.

• Starting rate: $20.10/hr

Essential Duties:

• Supervise a small team of health staff in supporting programming in meeting health and nutrition requirements for the Head Start Program.
• Advocate for children and families regarding health, nutrition, and dental services with appropriate medical terminology
• Tracking and monitoring staff health requirements.
• Ongoing monitoring, tracking, and following up on medical records, plans of care, and other situations regarding health.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• Degree in related heath field highly preferred
• 2 years’ experience in child/family health or comparable field

Other Requirements: Ability to function autonomously and as part of a team; strong orientation toward positive customer service with ability to communicate professionally with a variety of people while demonstrating tact, discretion & good judgment; excellent writing, analytical and interpersonal skills; competency with Microsoft Office; ability to obtain and maintain current CPR and First Aid certifications. Pre-employment physical, SBI, DMV, Maine Sex Offender Registry, DHHS fingerprinting, fraud, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment; valid driver’s license and travel within the service area is required.
