The Value Analysis Program Coordinator leads and coordinates the hospital’s Value Analysis Program (VAP), working within the Supply Chain Management department and collaborating with leadership and stakeholders in clinical, financial, and operations departments. They are also responsible for the overall management for the Value Analysis Program, including coordinating the evaluation and implementation of clinical systems, supplies, services, and equipment hospital wide. 

Requirements:

• Requires graduation from an accredited college in nursing or other clinical discipline. Must have current RN licensure from the Louisiana State Board of Nursing or other clinical licensure from an accredited approval body. Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Requires a minimum of five years' prior experience as an RN or other clinical professional role. Three or more years of experience in a leadership or project management position is preferred.
• Must have strong clinical, financial, and analytical skills, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills. Requires the ability to independently research, organize and compose various reports, forms, graphs, presentations, etc. associated with the implementation of successful value analysis teams. Requires the ability to manage and lead diverse groups.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leading and coordinating value analysis project teams related to system and equipment assessments, trials and implementations, resource utilization, Physician preferences, and other organizational initiatives.
• Collaborates with cross-functional clinical leadership to determine appropriate membership and representation for all Value Analysis Teams and initiatives, and assures effective organization, preparation, and team facilitation for all program team meetings.
• Provides and maintains process for any new requested product, service, and equipment from staff. Supports and facilitates Physician engagement, balancing standardization initiatives, rationalization initiatives, and utilization initiatives.
• Coordinates educational programs related to supplies/equipment and Supply Chain function.
• Determines efficient approaches for evaluating new products at the hospital. Develops Value Analysis policies, procedures, and workflows that support the Value Analysis Program and other Supply Chain processes.
