Design, implement and troubleshoot high-functioning systems that involve complex technical network and server infrastructures with appropriate security and availability concerns. 2. Provide continuing configuration and maintenance of complex network equipment and address and solve failures to increase availability for users while maintaining and improving the reliability and security of IT services. 3. Serves as a senior consultant and subject matter expert, provides consultation to users and staff for the most complex problems. The work is of a diversified nature that generally involves multiple unrelated steps. The position involves functional leadership responsibilities as a senior consultant or project leader

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications*: Two years advising and assisting computer users in a distributed computing environment. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency. (To consider education in lieu of experience, transcripts must be submitted with application.)

Preferred Qualifications: Associate's degree in computer science and/or Networking

· Security Clearance: A background check (KBI - criminal background, welfare fraud, driver's license and Child/Adult Abuse and Neglect Central Registry) is required for all positions with the Department for Children and Families (DCF) as a condition of employment, which may include fingerprinting and FBI check. Security clearance must be obtained prior to employment with DCF. Must maintain security clearance throughout employment.
