Operated by the Minnesota Department of Human Services, CARE St. Peter specializes in providing treatment for co-occurring mental illness and chemical dependency. In the role of RN at CARE St. Peter, you will provide professional nursing care and assessments so that the client's health is restored, promoted and maintained. Job duties include:
  • Provide supervision and coordination of care on assigned shift, so that standards of care are maintained. Participate as an active member of the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Develop a therapeutic relationship with clients and provide accurate, current client concerns, cares, and/or other pertinent information to the team.
  • Provide for client safety and maintain a safe, drug free therapeutic environment.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments.
  • Provide chemical dependency and psychiatric care to clients as identified in Treatment Plan.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be licensed or eligible to obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota. *Future Registered Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-RN are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX-RN.
