Tour Guide

Position Summary:

Founded in 2013 with the desire to create a lifestyle through craft beer, Trillium is a New England farmhouse-inspired brewery rooted in community and shared experiences. Trillium operates a production brewery and taproom in Canton, a greenhouse-inspired brewery and taproom in Fenway, a beer garden and brewery on the Rose Kennedy Greenway, and a brewery, taproom, and restaurant in Boston’s historic Fort Point neighborhood.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Brewery and Distillery Tour Guide. As a vital member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing engaging and informative tours to visitors, showcasing the art and science behind our brewing and distilling processes. This role requires a passion for craft beverages, excellent communication skills, and a friendly demeanor to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Conducting Engaging Tours:
• Lead guided tours of our brewery and distillery, providing visitors with a captivating and educational experience.
• Showcase the various stages of the brewing and distilling process, highlighting key ingredients, equipment, and techniques.

• Knowledge Sharing:
• Demonstrate a deep understanding of our beer and spirits production, emphasizing the unique qualities and characteristics of our products.
• Answer questions from tour participants and provide additional information about the history and culture of our brewery and distillery operations.

• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure the safety of tour participants by adhering to all safety guidelines and regulations.
• Familiarize guests with safety protocols and emergency procedures.

• Customer Engagement:
• Interact with guests in a friendly and approachable manner, creating a positive and memorable experience.
• Encourage guest participation, involvement in tastings, and feedback on our products.

• Tasting Sessions:
• Conduct tasting sessions, offering insights into the flavor profiles of our beers and spirits.
• Educate participants on the art of tasting and appreciating different styles of craft beverages.

• Hospitality:
• Provide exceptional hospitality by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
• Promote merchandise and products to tour participants.

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary.

• Minimum 18 years of age

• Passion for Craft Beverages:
• Genuine interest and enthusiasm for craft beer and spirits.

• Communication Skills:
• Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information in an engaging and accessible manner.

• Knowledge of Brewing and Distilling:
• Basic understanding of brewing and distilling processes, ingredients, and equipment.

• Customer-Focused:
• Friendly, outgoing, and customer-focused personality.

• Safety Conscious:
