Future Foam has an immediate opportunity for a Machine Operator at its facility in Mansfield, Ma. We seek an individual who possesses 1 year saw cutting experience with attention to detail.

KEY OBJECTIVE

• Accurately cut blocks of foam into smaller fabricated pieces, assess quality and take required actions, make sure accurate quantity is produced, label packages and maintain productivity standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify incoming product size and type.
• Read/interpret schedules & production tickets to accurately cut the foam block & get maximum yield.
• Set-up and operate various cutting equipment’s in the fabrication department.
• Verify finished products dimensional accuracy.
• Inspects product for defects & keep constant communication with supervisor regarding next steps
• Package finished product either manually or automatically and label accurately to verify the right quantity is being shipped to the customer as per requested.
• Effectively communicate with the supervisor and co-workers to maintain productivity standards.
• Follow all safety rules and procedures.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are an essential job function.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 2 years’ experience operating equipment requiring dimensional accuracy.
• Work with computers entering data, manipulating software, etc.
• Ability to read, write & speak English. Ability to read, interpret and implement various documents.
• Must be able to understand basic math.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to perform physical labor.
• Ability to learn within a fast-paced environment, work with other employees in a cooperative manner, handle repetitive job duties.
• Formal education is not required, but preferred.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional ambition.
• Work long and irregular hours including weekends in response to customer demand.

Starting Pay $19 /Hour with opportunities for advancement.
