Located in Wyoming, Michigan, St. John Vianney provides an exceptional faith-based education for 170 students, K-8. At St. John Vianney, we educate compassionate, knowledgeable students to follow the path of Jesus Christ. Located minutes from downtown Grand Rapids, SJV enjoys a diverse, supportive, faith-filled community, drawing from multiple local parishes in the southernmost region of the Diocese of Grand Rapids. Over 30% of our families speak Spanish or Vietnamese in addition to English. We are looking for a Teacher to engage students in growing their Spanish speaking, reading, and writing skills and expanding students’ knowledge of the cultures in which this language is spoken. In a student-centered learning environment, middle school students will engage in lessons, projects, and activities that inspire a love of learning and in expanding language skills, in particular. This teacher would be hired through Brighton Area Schools and will also be required to complete a Diocese of Grand Rapids Employment application.
