Summary
The Wastewater Operational Technology Team is responsible for the wastewater system, Supervisory and Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system. The team is looking for an Operational Technology Manager (OT) - Cyber Security. The Operational Technology (OT) Manager - Cyber Security leads and manages the OT Cyber Security staff, develop, deploy, and operates the OT cyber security program at GLWA. The manager also provides technical oversight and assistance to projects with cyber security components. The OT manager is responsible for developing cybersecurity standards, policies, and procedures. Manage and motivates staff, promotes effective teamwork, demonstrates continuous learning, and encourages innovation in others. Responsible and accountable for delivering high standards of work quality and organizational performance. Ensure the effective management of all assigned staff, develops training and developmental plans as required. Perform operational and strategic planning and budgeting. Participate in the development, recommendation and administration of GLWA-OT operating and capital budgets.
Job Responsibilities
Managing Staff: Infrastructure Administrators and SCADA Technicians (Direct Reports)
Improving GLWA OT Infrastructure Cybersecurity:

• NIST Core - Identify, Protect, Detect, Respond, and Recover
• Implement critical security controls
• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures
• Periodically conduct on-site risk and security assessments; review incident reports; develop plan-of-action to enhance operational security.
• Monitor, audit, and analyze cybersecurity operations
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on cyber-security technologies and standards
• Monitor and evaluate publications from EPA, AWWA, WaterISAC and CIS
• Create, evaluate, and approve plans for the implementation of new technology deployments and system integration testing
• Recruit, train and supervise cybersecurity staff

Managing or providing technical oversight or internal and capital projects that include or impact OT cybersecurity.
Required Education and Experience
•Bachelor's degree in the related operational or functional fields, such as Engineering, Chemistry,
Accounting, Human Resources, and Information Technology
•Three (3) to five (5) years as a controls or cyber security professional
•Five years of recent management and operational experience gained through progressively more responsible positions.
•Professional accreditation in an area related to the operational or functional field may be required for some specialty areas at the discretion of the GLWA Chief Executive Officer and Organizational Development Unit
•Education requirement can be substituted with extensive experience at the discretion of the GLWA Chief Executive Officer and Organizational Development Unit
Environmental Working Requirements:
May work in an office, plant, or field environment. This position requires the ability to work in all conditions involving exposure to outside elements and seasonal weather.
