Astute Business Solutions is an Oracle Cloud partner and PeopleSoft/Oracle-EBS/Banner consulting firm based in Dublin, California, USA. Astute is currently looking for a Full-time or part-time (20 hours a week) for the following role:

Job Title: IT Support Admin (Hybrid)

Location: Offshore

IT Support Engineer will support Astute’s in-house consulting team

• Deliver onsite and remote help desk support, managing and resolving technical issues across a broad technology stack.

• Oversee IT infrastructure components, including servers, VPNs, networks, and office A/V setups. Ensure systems are up-to-date and running smoothly, emphasizing security and efficient operation.

• Identify and implement automation opportunities to streamline IT processes, enhancing organizational productivity and technology performance. Experience with Okta Workflows is preferred.

• Provide remote support for Astute Employees in the US and offshore as needed.

Responsibilities and various Tasks

• 4 years of experience in IT support and infrastructure management.

• Strong background as an admin on standard productivity tools: Google Workspace, AWS, Atlassian/Jira, End-point verification, Bitwarden, and AVG

• Experience in firewall and VPN configuration and management, with demonstrated skills ensuring robust network security and efficient remote access solutions.

• Proficient in managing Windows environments, with a demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and ensure efficient operations.

• Highly effective communicator; ability to explain complex technical details and collaborate effectively across teams.

• Ability to diagnose issues, identify solutions, and lead initiatives that improve Astute’s IT operations.

• Proven ability to manage, execute, and document projects effectively; proactively gets things done and ensures technology meets the needs of the business.

Extra Credit

• Assist during CSP and SOC2 audits.

• A commitment to professional development and continuous learning, including learning Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)-Astute will pay for further education
