Challenger Sports is Hiring a TinyTykes Soccer Coach Near Waterbury, CT
What is TinyTykes?TinyTykes is a FUNdamental introduction to the game of soccer for players aged 2 – 5. Players learn the introductory skills of soccer through you teaching them fun games and stories in weekly classes lasting 45 mins each. Our soccer experts and child development professionals have designed an innovative curriculum for you to follow which introduces young soccer stars to the basic skills needed in soccer as well as developing their motor, social, and psychological skills.
InformationClasses run Monday through Friday (occasionally on weekends) & last 45 minutes each session. Coaches will be provided with uniform, equipment, training and a curriculum to follow.
TinyTykes offers flexible part-time working hours and the opportunity to work in a rewarding and fun environment. Classes typically take place at preschools and sport complexes and run for 8 week blocks.
TinyTykes are looking for coaches to begin working in September for an 8 week block of sessions.
This may also open up future opportunities of coaching over winter, spring and summer..
Compensation$20 - $30 per class (classes are usually 45mins and run back to back)
LocationSessions are run both indoors and outdoors at various preschools & P&R locations
RequirementsMust have EXPERIENCE working with children of this age group.
Must have up to date current FIRST AID procedures.
It is essential you are PERSONABLE with a highly ENERGETIC and ENTHUSIASTIC personal when engaging with the children and colleagues you create relationships with.
PLAYING EXPERIENCE In Soccer Is Preferred But Not Required.Must have your own TRANSPORT.
Must complete a BACKGROUND CHECK.
Must have US Work Authorization
