We are looking for an Automation Computer System Validation (CSV) Engineer with Emerson Delta-V experience for daily support of our client's Automation Systems in Thousand Oaks, CA. This entails design, build, commission, validation and possible lifecycle support. Must have experience working with Emerson Delta-V automation systems in the Life Sciences (Medical Device or Biopharmaceuticals).

Dependent on project, 100% onsite client support may be required. 

Summary of Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in technical field, including Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred
• Experience in computer systems validation, Emerson Delta V programming, 21 CFR Part 11, and GAMP experience.
• Must have experience working in the Biopharmaceutical industry
• 4 years of relevant work experience – including design, build, test and ongoing operations support 
• Knowledge of GAMP (Good Automated Manufacturing Practices) GMP and GDP
• Developing and executing IQ, OQ, and PQ
• Knows Quality Management Systems and assessment of changes to URS, Functional Specifications, Design Specifications and understands Software validation.
• Ability to understand the operational details / product functions / etc. by reviewing and interpreting sequence of operations and Functional Specifications.
• Demonstrate Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to interact well with a variety of personalities, discipline skills and educational levels.
