This position is a DAYSHIFT schedule - there is NO Overnight travel, with some nights and weekends, only as needed.CDL Tanker Driver Requirements | WHAT YOU BRINGExperience working with septic tanks is preferredMust hold a Class A CDL licenseTanker Endorsement is requiredValid Driver’s License with a good standing driving recordAble to lift up to 50 lbsAbility to pass a background check and DOT drug and physical examExcellent customer service skillsThis position may be required to work evenings, weekends, and other non-standard work hours as neededKnowledge of drains and septic systems is a plusExperience with hands-on work in the fieldCDL Tanker Driver Responsibilities | WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGAs a tanker driver, you will drive to and service local residential and commercial properties by observing the condition of septic tanks and identifying any issues or potential problemsPerform routine maintenance such as pumping and properly disposing of non-hazardous waste that accumulates sludge, which helps prevent blockagesProvide maintenance recommendations to customersPerforming daily pre-trip and post-trip maintenance and inspectionsAdhere to all transportation regulations and company policiesFollow safety rules and best practices under Zoom Drain requirementsSpeak with customers and communicate effectively with them on any follow-up maintenance recommendationsMaintain accurate records of work performed and findings for compliance purposesThe ability to meet the physical demands of the jobFollow communication procedures, guidelines, and policiesGo the extra mile to engage customersAt Zoom, we take great care in cultivating the careers of our employees.
