Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Deputy Director position located in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area. The Deputy Director will work closely with the CEO to manage different operations within the organization. Will identify policy and advocacy opportunities, work with external organizations on behalf of the Association, lead various committees and sections, and analyze and interpret government regulation and legislation. The Deputy Director will also help identify opportunities for member engagement and development as well as participate in legislative activities. If the Deputy Director is a JD, will function as the organization's general counsel. Qualifications • Minimum 3-5 years’ experience working in a non-proft or association managerial position • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong leadership skills and experience managing • Experience with public policy and advocacy. • Experience working with committees and external organizations. • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred or • Juris Doctor degree with General Counsel experience • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong research and writing skills • Knowledge of healthcare policy and regulatory environment • Experience in healthcare advocacy or public policy • Experience in fundraising, grant writing, or development • Experience in managing events and conferences • IT experience preferred • Social media work experience • Prior health care association, hospital or physician ofce, or health insurance experience Skills • Office 365 - Word, Excel, Outlook • Grant writing • QuickBooks • Dependable, ethical, reliable, thorough Benefits • Generous PTO • Full health and dental insurance • Generous 401K • Other

Pay: $155,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
