About our SaaS Solution

SynaptiQ is 3E’s SaaS product, an independent, evolutionary software suite for asset management of renewable energy portfolios (more information on https://www.3e.eu/solutions/synaptiq). SynaptiQ collects near-real time data of more than 20 million devices spread over 10 thousands utility scale and commercial solar and wind sites spread all over the globe.

We develop and operate advanced analytical services to enrich the monitoring data by:

  • satellite imaging data,
  • meteorological modelling,
  • advanced system modelling,
  • machine learning & artificial intelligence.

The platform combines domains related to big data, high-performance processing, IoT protocols and AI and is the product of the interactions between a multidisciplinary team of developers, scientists, renewable energy architects, electrical engineers, and enthusiast sales that implement, operate and commercialize SynaptiQ worldwide.

The added value realized by SynaptiQ is performance improvement and operational cost reduction for its Operations & Maintenance customers.

The Role

As a Solution Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in pre-sales activities, client onboarding, technical integration and customer success. You will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, providing technical guidance, and ensuring successful implementation of our solutions. The ideal candidate blends technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and exceptional communication skills.

This role demands a proactive approach to account management, issue detection, and continuous platform and service improvement.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Project Management

  • Mapping of the contractual agreement
  • Preparing of a project planning
  • Interact with internal stakeholders to ensure planning is adhered to Pre-Sales Engineering:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and technical requirements.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our software solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process, including pilots and RFPs, including solution architecture, integration capabilities, and customization options.
  • Address technical queries and concerns raised by prospective customers, ensuring clarity and confidence in our offerings.

Client Onboarding:

  • Collaborate with new clients to comprehend their unique needs, creating an
  • ideal infrastructure for their seamless onboarding onto the SynaptiQ platform.
  • Work closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to guarantee a successful onboarding process.
  • Offer technical support throughout the onboarding process, addressing any troubleshooting and resolving issues promptly.
  • Conduct comprehensive training for clients to ensure proficient use of the SynaptiQ platform.
  • Continually refine the onboarding process and establish best practices.

Technical Integration:

  • Execute the technical integration of the client's renewable energy plant with our SaaS platform, using high-level engineering plans (pilot and full migration)
  • Facilitate successful integration with client systems, including mapping of data to solar energy plants, identifying any data discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with clients to identify and resolve any data acquisition issues in their renewable energy plant, providing engineering solutions as required.
  • Platform Configuration and Customization:
  • Configure and customize the SynaptiQ platform to meet individual client requirements and specific renewable energy plant monitoring needs.

Collaboration and Feedback:

  • Work in tandem with the development team to provide feedback and suggestions for platform improvements and new feature development.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to the onboarding process and technical support for the SaaS platform.
  • Develop user guides and training materials for clients.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance the onboarding process and technical support for clients.
  • Communicate valuable feedback to the product development team for potential improvements to the SaaS platform.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to relay customer feedback, feature requests, and enhancement suggestions.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional products or services based on customer needs and usage patterns.

Our Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a bright engineer with a commercial mindset and good communication skills. With a strong “getting things done” mentality, we expect you to bring value as from day one in the start-up mode of the newly created US entity. You will work along side the local leadership team as from the start, while being supported by a strong global organisation.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a role such as Service Delivery, Customer Success or Technical Account Manager, ideally within a high-growth - environment.
  • Proven track record in a data driven technical leadership role, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on KPIs and customer metrics.
  • Experience in the solar and/or wind industry is highly advantageous, from work experience or studies.
  • Full professional proficiency in English. Additional language such as Spanish, is a plus.
  • Exceptional technical and analytical abilities, with a focus on achieving customer success.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to balance hands-on work with strategic projects.
  • A proactive "get things done" mentality.
  • Legal authorization to work in the USA without requiring visa sponsorship.
  • Proficiency in CRM or customer success software such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Gainsight, etc.
  • Exceptional personal attributes, including empathy, patience, excellent listening skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
