Elliott Electric Supply is Hiring a Delivery Driver Near Farmers, TX
QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid Driver's License in state of residence with 3 years driving history. Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with no type A violation; or no more than (1) type B violation in past (3) years. A Department of Transportation physical exam will be conducted by a licensed medical examiner. Read, comprehend, write, perform calculations, input accurately, reason, and analyze. Function independently, completing various tasks accurately with close attention to detail.
Physical Requirements: Frequent driving is required. Visits to customers will expose the individual to all types of weather conditions. Must be aware of each customer’s environment and adhere to the proper safety regulations since there will be occasional exposure to events such as excessive noise and moving machinery. Frequently walk, bend, squat, climb, and kneel. Occasional pushing, pulling, and reaching. Regular handling of objects and lifting of up to 50 pounds. Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds. Physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle in accordance with the medical qualification standards in Sec. 391.41; This is a safety sensitive position, the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative.
