UCP of Western Massachusetts, Inc. is Hiring a Remote Specialist for Remote Supports
$1,500 Sign-onBonus!Job Type: Full Time Schedule: 37.5 hours/week (M-F)Location: On-Site, Pittsfield, MAPosition Overview:The on-site Specialist for Remote Supports position offers initial and ongoing support to members who are enrolled in Remote Support Services (RSS) according to the care plan. Job Responsibilities:
Read and sign off on member care plans, maintain emergency contacts & medication lists
Attend intake & installation meetings for remote support members
Provide ongoing technology education and awareness
Hold on-call cell phone for managing missed vendor check-in calls
Coordinate with staff delivering in-home supports and update electronic health records
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements & agency policies
Report issues with remote equipment & participate in investigations as needed
Represent the organization positively within the community & maintain professional communication with stakeholders
Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age with High School Diploma
1 year of human service experience
Comfortable with technology and remote applications (ex. Zoom, teams, Microsoft Office, etc.)
Ability to learn new systems and software
Ability to maintain composure and respond appropriately in an emergency response situation
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Must have an acceptable CORI, SORI, DPPC background check
A valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and the availability of a private vehicle
