Abstrakt Marketing Group is Hiring a Service Manager Near Detroit, MI
This is a full-time, direct placement role at Systemp Corp.
Scope: The Service Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the service department including marketing, sales, estimating, pricing, training, scheduling, and installation/completion of the departments projects and services in highest quality and effective manner possible.
Work Schedule: M-F 7AM – 4PM or as assigned
Reports to: Ownership
Responsibilities:
1. Sales, estimating, and marketing
- Target marketing
- Account Management
- Pursue maintenance agreement opportunities with new and existing customers
- Produce detailed estimates and proposals using company software, forms, and protocols.
- Review all quotes issued by the service department for accuracy
- Perform sales presentations for new and existing customers
- Help coordinate all marketing efforts with ownership
- Promote and manage technician training
- Encourage and participate in SP Group learning objectives and activities
2. Accounting and Administration
- Oversee daily service operations
- Review work orders and technician purchases for accurate billing purposes
- Verify billings prior to be sent to the customer
- Promote a harmonious, team driven work environment
3. Operations
- Supervise performance of all service technicians
- Provide technical assistance to service technicians and other co workers
- Advise and work in conjunction with the service administrator and dispatcher
- Assist and discuss manpower needs with the dispatcher and field operations manager
- Assist in recruiting and selection of new service employees
- Monitor account sales and their profitability
Qualifications/Attributes:
- Proven work experience in the HVAC industry
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, codes, best practices and performance standards
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Project management skills
- TEAM oriented
- Familiarity with MS Office including spreadsheets, emails, and word processing
- Business casual attire or appropriate attire to maintain a professional appearance
- Clean driving record
