**Overview:**

Join our team as a Medical Biller where you will play a crucial role in the healthcare industry. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in medical billing and coding to ensure accurate and timely processing of medical claims.

**REQUIREMENTS** BILINGUAL SPANISH

**DERMATOLOGY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED**

**Responsibilities:**

- Utilize knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-9, DRG coding, and medical records systems to accurately bill and code medical claims

- Process insurance claims, verify patient insurance coverage, and follow up on unpaid claims

- Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to resolve billing issues

- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA guidelines

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in medical billing

**Skills:**

- Proficiency in medical billing procedures and software systems

-EXPERIENCE WITH EMA/MOD MED A PLUS!

- Strong understanding of ICD-9 coding and medical terminology

- Experience with medical collections and reimbursement practices

- Knowledge of DRG coding principles

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Effective communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders in the healthcare industry

YOU WILL TRAIN IN OFFICE. YOU MAY BE ASKED TO WORK FROM AN OFFICE UNTIL COMFORTABLE WITH OUR SOFTWARE SYSTEM/PROTOCOLS.
