Activities Coordinator/CNA for Adult Day Center
Full Time |Monday - Friday Day Shift | No Weekends!

Responsibilities for a Day Center Activities Coordinator/CNA:

• Develop, implement, and evaluate programs and activities to meet the needs of all participants.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of activities and adjust as necessary
• Adapt activities as needed to meet needs of participants
• Prepare monthly activity calendar
• Assess, monitor and evaluate participant's level of participation in activity program
• Document participant involvement in activities
• Complete quarterly activity summary for each participant
• Participate in the development of the participant care plan
• Ensures a safe, clean and therapeutic environment is maintained
• Ensures compliance with all universal precautions, health and safety regulations
• Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with participants, caregivers, supervisor and co-workers

Qualifications for a Day Center Activities Coordinator/CNA:

• Activities Director Certification preferred
• Background in Healthcare
• CNA preferred
• Experience working with elderly and/or adults with disabilities in acute care, nursing home, assisted living or community based agency
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Creativity/Flexibility
• Ability to work independently
