Description
As an Engineering Technician I, you will play a crucial role in supporting our engineering team. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to engineers and other team members. Your duties will include:
- Assisting engineers in the design, development, and testing of products, processes, and systems.
- Collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Building and testing prototypes to ensure they meet design specifications.
- Conducting experiments and tests to validate designs and identify potential issues.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical problems as they arise.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in a technical role, preferably in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Experience in using computer-aided design (CAD) software, PLS-CADD is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
