About the Organization Our company was incorporated in 1984 within the State of North Carolina, and opened its doors for business in August of 1985.
The company has continually grown to a point where we currently serve more than 600 individuals, and employ more than 1000 people across the state.
Skill Creations is a human services agency that operates three service divisions. The ICF Division provides specialized long-term residential care to 191 individuals with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities in 15 different towns in North Carolina.
The Community Operations Division provides residential and non-residential services to persons with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities in their home community.
The Child Development Division, with two locations in Goldsboro, provides high quality child care and preschool for children ages birth - 5 years.
One center also offers after school care through age 12. Description
An employee in this position will assist the Program Coordinator with daily activites and outings as well as carry out daily routines, monitor and supervise children, and provide a nurturing and safe learning environment.
The hours will typically be 1pm-6pm each day during the summer months and 2pm-6pm during the school year. There may be some days in which hours may be extended for special actviities or substituting for the Program Coordinator's absence.
The employee will transport children from school to the school age program during the school year and on some occassions in the summer for outings.
Hourly Pay Rate - $15 / hr
Position Requirements
Criminal Check : Must have DCDEE Criminal Check Qualification Letter.
Education : REQUIRED HS Diploma
REQUIRED HS Diploma
Experience : Preferred 1-2 years
Age - at least 19 years of age
Driver's License - must have had a valid drivers license for at least 3 years.
