We are currently looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team at Opera Software in Oslo.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve datasets for Opera’s products (new and existing).
• Perform ad hoc data explorations and analysis tasks.
• Develop and maintain systems such as reports and dashboards.
• Monitor and evaluate business essential KPIs.
• Collaborate with product, business and finance teams on ongoing projects.

Job Requirements:

• Overall 0~2 years of experience with BSc or MSc in computer science, statistics, business, marketing or equivalent.
• Strong quantitative skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex information using SQL and Python.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment, where we are often “building the plane while it’s already in the air”.
• Thirst for learning and to build a strong foundation for long-term career growth and success.
• Strong communication (both verbal and written) skills and fluency in English.

An Ideal Candidate’s Profile:

• Intermediate SQL skills (Google BigQuery knowledge is a big plus).
• Experience working with Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Looker (preferable), Tableau, PowerBI, or DataStudio.
• Basic Python skills.
