Inspect and inventory trailers, dock trailers and perform yard checks. This person must demonstrate leadership ability in a team environment. Ensures compliance with all related SOP’s & Safety guidelines. Work will be performed in a fast-paced and changing environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Maintain 5S standards and organization of the yard.
- Filling out necessary forms and paperwork.
- Performing thorough inspections of equipment daily.
- Being able to work in a team environment with strong communication skills.
- Train new employees and continuously monitor practices to ensure team enlightenment.
- Follow-up on daily yard issues with management.
- Provide feedback to management on any issues that arise with finished goods.
- Follow SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) while complying with company policies.
- Responsible for inspecting finished goods with high accuracy prior to loading.
- Experienced in loading trailers with a warehouse fork truck.
- Other duties assigned.
- Distribution experience preferred but not required.
- Experience in spotting trailers / or CDL driving preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous Leadership experience
- WMS experience preferred.
- Demonstrates exceptional job performance, attendance, and ethics.
