Position Description:
Ship and receive product, conducting duties with Safety-minded attitude that maintains and enhances a Safety-culture for the benefit of the Company and its employees.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Loads and unloads materials from inbound and outbound trucks
• Verifies condition and quantity of materials being shipped or received
• Moves, stores, stacks, and delivers materials and products to designated storage or production areas
• Operates a material handling equipment such as forklifts and walkers
• Scans and verifies data in Adage matches actual shipments as needed
• Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities:
Not applicable
Requirements:
• Able to speak, read and write English
• Able to work overtime and weekends as needed
• Basic working knowledge of computer applications
Physical Requirements:
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds daily, approximately 40% to 50%of each day
• Able to lift/move in excess of 50 up to 100 pounds a few times a day
• Walking and/or standing 90% of the day
• Work in extreme environments (Freezer/blast Cell)
Training Period:
Minimum 90 days meeting all above requirements; up to two years
