VP of Finance - Manufacturing

My client is an innovative company that manufactures and develops metal and plastic solutions for a variety of industries. They are seeking to hire a VP of Finance responsible for financial strategies, planning and analysis to drive efficiencies, improve profitability and support business initiatives. Provide leadership to a team, managing all aspects of finance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a finance team, ensuring their growth and development
• Oversee all operating, forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis
• Implement and maintain financial accounting controls, systems, processes and policies
• Review P&L’s for all products and locations/facilities
• Maintain methodologies for product costing, operational accounting and inventory; make improvements as needed
• Evaluate and analyze product costing, provide insights and adjust pricing as needed
• ERP implementation support; ensure a streamline system that automates performance variance analysis, budgeting, forecasting cash flow and reporting
• Create and generate customized reports within ERP system; analyze results
• Prepare and present operational and financial overview to executive board
• Oversee taxation, company audits, investments and ensure insurance coverage
• Retirement plan; review options and performance
• Maintain knowledge of competitors / market; analyze data and potential organizational impact
• Develop and maintain strategic plans based on business growth prospects
• Collaborate with executive team to make decisions regarding organization’s financial strategy and operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, MBA preferred
• Min. 7-10 years of experience in an Executive Leadership role in Finance/Accounting (VP / CFO level)
• Experience within metal stamping manufacturing industry
• CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred
• P/L management experience within an OEM environment
• Knowledge/Understanding of financial reporting and systems
• Excellent leadership skills; ability to lead a team
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize, meet deadlines
• Excellent finance-based analytical and cost accounting skills
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proficient in financial management software and ERP systems within custom-order and distribution industry

Offering:

• Base Salary $190,000 - $200,000 (based on experience)
• Bonus Potential 20%
• Benefits Package, 401K
