QualificationsThis person should have 3-5 years of related experience in commercial and ag documentation. A familiarity with CSi and nCino or other similar software preferred. Good verbal and written communication skills and analytical thinking are necessary.
Responsibilities
- Ensure flood determinations are obtained when applicable, reviewing existing loans. Serve as liaison between lender and compliance to ensure adherence with regulation when property(ies) are in a flood zone.
- Review completed loan packages and appropriate supporting documentation for collateral documentation and corporate existence. Ensure accurate input of collateral information in the nCino system. Work with bank’s Centralized Loan Processing and business lines to ensure collateral is documented accurately and perfected appropriately.
- Perform pre-closing review of documentation in nCino and Synergy to ensure loans are closed within proper approval and with appropriate documentation. Identify needed documentation for all types of Ag and Business loans. Communicate needed documentation to business lines.
- Verify selected information for compliance with regulation – i.e. – joint intent.
- Work with frontline lending staff to prepare and/or review loan denials, including incompleteness and withdrawns, for business and ag applications. Work to ensure regulatory compliance within prescribed timelines.
- Working with the business line and Centralized loan processing department, ensure the collection and validation of HMDA/regulatory data for applicable ag and commercial transactions.
- Provide support to commercial and ag lending staff.
- Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.
- Adhere to compliance procedures and participate in required compliance training.
- Working with the business line and Centralized loan processing department, ensure the collection and validation of HMDA/regulatory data for applicable ag and commercial transactions.
- Provide support to commercial and ag lending staff.
- Act in accordance with FBT policies and procedures as set forth in the employee handbook.
