Job Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics and Technology Teacher to join our team. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, teaching various mathematical concepts, and fostering a positive learning environment for students. As a Technology teacher of PreK-8 students, you will be responsible for introducing our students to the Google suite of programs and guiding them through various technology projects. You will spend half of your day in math instruction and half of your day in technology instruction.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards

- Teach students various mathematical concepts, including algebra, geometry, and calculus

- Utilize effective teaching strategies to engage students in the learning process

- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback

- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and collaboration

- Use learning technology to enhance instruction and student engagement

- Provide additional support to students who may be struggling with mathematical concepts

- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop interdisciplinary projects and activities

- Stay updated on current trends and best practices in education

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of mathematics, including algebra, geometry, and calculus

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to different learning styles

- Proficient in using learning technology to enhance instruction

- Strong organizational skills for lesson planning and classroom management

- Ability to calculate and dissect complex mathematical problems

- Attention to detail for proofreading student work
