Primary Function
Drives a strengths-based service delivery approach that is grounded in an understanding of the impact of trauma, that emphasizes physical, mental, and emotional safety for youth, families, and staff, and that creates opportunities for individuals to rebuild a sense of control and empowerment through safe, trusting, and supportive relationships and interventions. Influences the approach across all Club sites of safety, trust, awareness, equity, empowerment, mutual collaboration, connection, and growth.

Founded in 1956, Boys & Girls Clubs of Topeka's mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. We currently have four club sites in and around Topeka that allow us to serve around 3,500 youth per year.
