Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Facility Maintenance Worker to join our team at Cupples Lofts, a recently renovated 130-unit residential building featuring exposed brick and modern amenities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the building's systems and ensuring the comfort and safety of our residents. Key duties include general building maintenance, repairs, and HVAC system upkeep.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems and structures, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address maintenance issues.
• Maintain and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and projects as needed.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• Proven experience in building maintenance, preferably in a residential setting.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and certification in HVAC maintenance.
• Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a customer-service-oriented attitude.
